• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Ride-On do you use for the Spyder?

I see Ride-On advertised for ATVs, Motorcycles, cars, trucks, etc. The Spyder uses car type tires, so which Ride-On do you use?

:agree: And it mite have a bad wobble for a bit I went to the Hwy an got up to 70 and it smoothed right out and all good from then on.

I had the same question. the manufacturer tech told me that the Automotive is better at balance and the motorcycle version is better at puncture protection. It was my call. I chose the motorcycle brand for protection. The balance is tooth jarring for about 3 miles after sitting idle for a couple of days but smoothes out perfectly.

Thats just me.

My Ride-On order arrived last Thursday. I plan on putting it into the front and rear tires this week. Questions I have concern wheel weights. On their web site Ride-On indicates the weights should be removed. Is this correct? Does the Ride-On actually rebalance the tires after the weights are removed?

I left mine and it worked just fine. I suggest leaving the weights at first. If you have a problem after the tires warm up and the Ride-On is well distributed, then try removing them. JMHO

I am running the automotive Ride-On in my tires without any weights and it works great. Even after sitting still for about 6 months, I only had a little bounce in the front right wheel for about 500 feet at the most. Highly recommend this stuff.

We use the automotive Ride-on in our Spyder tires (it helps balance the tires and also self-seals in case of a puncture). A little bumpy when it is first put in but I'd say that didn't last 1/4 mile or so.
