There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What is your plan for Replacement batteries for the Canyon?

The Canyon has a small battery box, the 310 CCA Leoch factory battery is a tight fit. I don't mean to jinx us from the start, but I'm a bit leery of this battery as most folks consider 350 CCA the minimum required for reliable operation of the 1330's complex electronics. What is your plan for a replacement? I want to be ready when the time comes. Thanks.

Maybe I am living in denial but I haven't thought about battery replacement for my Canyon yet. I did add a fused pigtail to the battery the day I bought it (mid April) and have used an Optimate maintainer whenever it is parked at home. To tell you the truth I hadn't even noticed it was only a 310 CCA battery.

I would suggest a Noco NLP 20 lithium battery. "a lot smaller than OEM"
I have this battery in my Spyder now and it holds 13.3 Volts for 3 weeks with NO maintainer.

Thank you, Knizar. I have no experience with lithium batteries, but as I was looking down at the Canyon's battery box I was thinking one of them is apt to be in my future. I need to study up on them a bit. I understand that the lesser Amp Hours for the lithium batteries compared to AGM might be a concern. The Haijiu battery in my Ryker did not serve me well, to say the least, and this Leoch doesn't give me the warm fuzzies, either.

I was shocked to find that many who are shaving weight on a Mazda Miata install the Noco NLP 20 battery.

If you measure the dimensions on the factory Canyon battery and then take them to an auto store they may have a similar size or smaller with 350 CCA's that would work. Like you I would feel more comfortable with a 350 CCA battery.
