• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is this??

I walked up to my bike this morning (2015 RT-S) to climb on and head to work and I looked down and saw this little plastic gizmo laying directly underneath. It is shiny and black and looks new. The only new and shiny thing I have in my garage is the Spyder. The bottom side has a rough texture and under magnification I believe they are miniature hooks for sticking to a hook and loop fastener. It would appear to be used for anchoring a wire or cable to something else with this plastic tab that adheres to a hook and look backing. Of course, I don't know for certain if it is even off of the bike or not.

Anybody know what it is for certain and where it might belong?

Edit - Mystery solved by Idahospyder1. A part that goes to the Sena 20S headset that fell out of my pocket. Thanks! (man, I love this forum!).

looks to me to be a cable holder of some kind

That's what I'm thinking. As I said, I was leaving for work so I didn't have time to get underneath the bike and nose around this morning. I'm hoping that somebody chimes in with some knowledge about this one.

Looks like a piece from my Sena 20 headset

By golly, I think idahospyder has it! I remember last night pulling out a small baggie from my jacket pocket that contained the small hex wrench and some of the spare parts to the Sena 20S (which I also have) so that I can tighten it up while on the road (had a previous headset come loose on my helmet). I bet this piece dropped out of the bag while I was messing with it.

Thanks so much! Now I'm not going to worry that my Spyder will disintegrate or burn up or worse yet, void the warranty in some way. ;)
