• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the high pitched whine I hear when I turn off our RT after riding?

It's normal, darn, just had a brain:cus: but it has something to do with the throttle body. It could continue for around 40 minutes. Someone else will chime in and fill in the rest of the answer. It could be the fan, but the fan will shut off after a minute or two. Dale

On the 2011 and later RTs, the ECM holds the throttle plates closed for 40 minutes after turning off the key, to prevent hot restart issues.

:agree: Your Spyder is just doing it's after-ride routine before turning off the lights and locking the doors.

yup- normal. I have two that sing to me when we come in from a ride. There is an insert in the owners manual that tells that this will happen.

You guys are nuts! But hey, what do ya expect spyder ryders! Thanks for the info! I figued it was normal but never got around to asking.

I don't know about your machines but if I forget to roll up the window at the end of a ride it will keep the air conditioning unit running too.....

With the magic fingers option, you gotta be careful not to lean too far forward...
You could turn this...:doorag: into this... or maybe this...:yikes:

CAUTION: Consult your proctologist before leaning forward...
How'd you like to see that warning sticker on your new seat? :roflblack:
Now... Head to the left, and cough...
