• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Desert Spyder's thread gave me an idea to ask "What is the coolest thing you like about your Spyder. Please name just ONE!"

Being able to stop anywhere off any road that has enough space for 3 wheels and not worry about the kickstand sinking.

It's hard to say, what is easy though is that I love it period. This is my first bike, so there's a lot of the new to riding sensation.

I guess I will go with the feeling of safety.

Wow Dudley is this a multiple choice question or what?

I'm a first time rider, a veteran like you might have another. I think the coolest thing physically are the "lines and curves" of the Spyder. She is definitely sexy. Men are visual creatures and this was the very first thing that struck me.

Riding the bike is another feeling. One we all can agree on is the "freedom" you experience no matter where you're at. The "power" of the babe is intoxicating. The "looks" you get makes you feel like a dork with the finest looking superchick in school...and she really digs you.

And what can I say about the twisties of a mountain road! Beyond description.

Its the ugly duckling of the cruiser world that became the beautiful swan.

Can these things be bronzed?

That it made my wife into a rider instead of a passenger after all these years......and what a rider she has become!

The curiosity that leads to a 5 minute conversations with a total stranger. Today I literally had a guy run out in the road and flag me down to ask me "what the heck is that thing?" I'm sure all of you know the rest of the story - and questions. :ohyea:

Too many things...

- I'm an attention whore when I'm on this thing. I love talking to people about it.... I'm a people person though.

- My wife is all into it. Really has surprised me. Might make the next 5 years of marriage a new journey.

Believe it or not, I love how complex my SE5 is. I read the service manual like it was a bible and follow the forum like a fanatic. Even when this thing breaks down, it does it in different and fascinating ways! This is not Grampa's Harley, this is a different breed of cat! Can't wait to start some serious modifications.

gee, hard to list just one. I would have to say the three wheel therapy after a long day. :doorag:

Well I have always been a "road less traveled" kinda gal when it comes to cruising around, or just commuting home. The Spyder has made me do this more and really enjoying being out. We take the twisty road through the foothills home instead of the freeway on our commute when we take the Spyder. It's really allowed me to do what I've always enjoyed doing and more.

Favorite mod?? Probably my Corbin saddlebags. It's allowed me to be able to use the Spyder as my primary source of transportation as I do not have a car (the hubby does, I do not). I love being able to run my errands, pick up a big bag of dog food, groceries, etc, etc.

I love my Hindle too.

I am a people person too, but I have to say.... this will wear off. You'll start to get sick of all the questions after a while.

...no worry about balance of a heavy road bike... no side stand to sink into the soft blacktop in the summer... wife and I both can ride once again. Answer questions? Never get tired of that... Heck, I've had more folks ask questions about our RV -- see picture of the truck.. use it to pull an Airstream Travel Trailer. You should hear the comments on the CB!!!
