• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the Coolest thing you like about your Spyder?

The exhillaration of the ryde. Never owned a motorcycle when I was growing up - now I am having my second childhood and boy os it fun. :D:clap::yes:nojoke

Holding up a bike at stops was wearing me out. And heck, I was only riding a 250!!!! My poor shoulders were going to knock me right out of riding anything. Then along came a spyder . . . . .

Well, you know the rest!!!

For me it's powering around a curve and all of the sudden there is loose gravel and I don't have to worry about the wheels slipping out and me going down. That's cool.:doorag:

I agree with many of the previous posts so I'll add meeting new Spyder friends. :doorag:

After riding a bunch of different brands of motorcycles throughout my lifetime, this Spyder thingie is a whole new experience. At my age, I got tired of trying to manhandle that big ole' Harley Ultra Glide and falling over a lot. So I made the decision to try something different. I'm smiling again.

It's turned into a great "couples" hobby for bjt and me. We always enjoy doing things together anyway but this just adds to the fun factor. The fact that we each have our own and do different mods is great too. I love to see him smile when he gets something new for his spyder. I love how he helps me with all my mods on my spyder. It is just so cool how we can enjoy these machines so much and enjoy being together with them.

Good question. I like not having to worry about a kick stand, loss gravel. And I really like ridding the wifes since we haven't got mine yet.

I have to agree with bjt. As a widower in a new area, it is tough finding/making new friends. I look forward to meeting and ryding with other Spyder ryders.

good question..
4ever young - "she" (my wife) sits once again behind me after 25 years !! and the feeling is still the same .. tried a lot of other bikes - the spyder was the solution..

Also, I like that Quackerz likes to ride together on the weekends. This is now something we love to do together.:shemademe_smilie::2thumbs:

I heard that.

:doorag: <--- LAMONSTER.......For me it's powering around a curve and all of the sudden there is loose gravel and I don't have to worry about the wheels slipping out and me going down. That's cool.

I couldn't have said it better Lalmonster! :spyder:<--- COOLMACHINE

best part

I love my wife on the back with me. We have such a great time together. I've done the Homerun package, backrest, fog lights and Micron pipe, I think it sounds great. Everytime I think about doing something else :2excited:. Thinking about some graphics, too many Yellow :spyder: on the road and my wife wants our to look different. Haven't figured it out yet. We just love driving it, we get on and don't want to get off, it's a shame we have to eat. Take care to all the Spyder riders, drive safe.

After 41 years I have ridden sport bikes, scooters, and touring bikes started on Harley 59 Duo-Glide. This is something new a Motorcycle for the 21st Century. I don't have to fight to park it, or worry about my 27" inseam. It makes me feel tall. All right taller. Feature I like best, I would have to say Reverse. Feature I least like ,the Range. It needs better fuel mileage.
