There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What is part # of engine ecu for re-flash "Monster Fuel"

I have an ecu spare module part#266879. On the diagram it shows engine harness & module. However on the bottom of this large ecu with 2 green connector plug ports---it reads Transmission Control Module. Is there another module for reflash with "Monster Fuel" & if so--where is it located on a 2015 F3's ??
I would deeply appreciate any help,
Darrell

Left side of bike side of engine should be two large connectors on it black with metal fins on the module

Left side of the Spyder while seated or left side looking at Spyder from front??F3's ECU.jpg
Thanks for your help--I thought I had seen this ecu on the right side while seated on the Spyder. The diagrams show another but it lacks visual definition.

The left side of any vehicle is determined by it's normal direction of travel while occupied.....Concerning the ECU ... This may apply to you .... the ECU is programmed to your Spyder ... a different ECU would need to be programmed for it to work in your Spyder, and this may be expensive !!!!............. Hi!

Yes, the ECU is on the left side. You can see it as soon as you have removed the side panel. There is two connection plugs and three bolts that you have to open to get the ECU out. Transmission ECU looks similar, so it is easy to get confused.

Thanks Mike---I already knew that but I've had problems in the past when the other party didn't know it thus I was just verifying. I bought the wrong F*ki*g part--the transmission ECU. I have never seen another motorcycle with more than one ECU. I got an $85 price from my dealer to hook up the Buds & activate the module with my F3's serial number. Thanks again for the support info.

The module has to be in the bike while BUDS programs it. The sequence also puts the processor on the the network buss with the other 5 processors. The module has to be mated to your bike, and have some ride time on it, before sending for reprogramming.

JC the way I'm reading your post ....you need to take your Spyder to Canada to get this done .... That was not my understanding from all that I have read about this so far !!!! ..... Mike
