• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is considered a Real Motorcycle?

You're right; I grabbed the wrong picture... :opps:

Isn't this the one you really meant. The works bike Harley.

It's a silly but stupid thing to get worked up over. Guessing many of us know about these motorcycles, but we never called them that. Sometimes I wonder how I survived my youth. FWIW, those re not photos of me, but I did that and more on those pull rope minibikes.

 I didn't have one of them... it looks pretty cool!
My "Italian-Davidson" was by far, the worst P.O.S. that I have ever owned... nojoke

Kamasaki, KZ1000 Police Special Edition. The Sheriffs Dept, in Palm Beach had those back in the 90's. I screwed up and sold the wrong rear tire to them one time. How was I to know, the customer sad Kamasaki KZ1000, did not specify police edition. Luckily the service dept caught it and had me exchange for the correct tire. The guy was in street clothes when he bought it.

Never had a Harley, but got friends that own some. Had a Honda Shadow, liked it. Now ride a Can Am Spyder RT, LOVE IT!!!
I call all real motorcycles. We are riding openly on the rode with cars and trucks and anything else.

I've been asked...

I've been asked a few times over the past couple of years from people trying to get a rise outta me, "Why don't you ride a real Motorcycle?"..... I just answer....Why do you care?...silence has always followed.....

Love the power slide with sneakers!

Motor: powered by non-human power
Cycle: two wheels in line with each other

. end of discussion.

You can choose to split hairs: dirt bike, sportbike, trike, cruiser, reverse trike, adv bike, standard, cafe, bobber, etc etc.

Or, you can use the actual definition:

According to the Oxford Dictionary:
cy·cle
[ˈsīk(ə)l]
NOUN
a series of events that are regularly repeated in the same order: "the boom and slump periods of a trade cycle"
synonyms: round · rotation · pattern · rhythm
a complete set or series: "the painting is one of a cycle of seven"
synonyms: series · sequence · succession · run · set
a bicycle or tricycle.

By the way, your "Two wheels in line with each other" is a bicycle, not a cycle.

 I'd have to call that, an accident that just hasn't happened yet! :yikes:

Anything involving humans usually is just that. I would still like to try 1of these & have full collection 1,2,3, wheel bikes parking indoors for work to charge could be good & cheap too , get it registered as a mobility assistance device ImageUploadedByTapatalk1445618241.370992.jpg ;)
