• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Is A Good Location To Place A GPS Or Sirius Satelilite Radio ?

Looking to purchase a new '13 RT-S, once the weather warms up. Currently have a Sirius on my present bike and would want to transfer it to the Spyder.

Handlebar mount

I have my Sirius mounted on a ram mount that I installed on the handlebar. I have a 2011 RT and took the plastic cover off and added a piece of metal on the back of the silver colored plastic and attached the ram mount there. I add a volume booster in the trunk. I ran wires to plug my headset in. I made a little plate and attached it to the top of the trunk.
As for the GPS I added a ram mount to the top of the dashboard. I also added two plugs in the front speakers for power. For both. I will try to post pics tomorrow.

I was curious as I don't recall seeing that the RT comes a Radio, Is that right?

Zumo 665

You can always mount a Garmin Zumo 665. Mine came.with XM built in. Mounted the XM antenna inside the frunk velcroed to the underside of the lid. It,s blue toothed to my Sena headset. Works great.

According to the BRP guy at the Motorcycle Show in Atlanta, all RTs will now come with a radio starting with the 2013 models. I was happy to hear that.

That's good to hear as the 2013 model I'm interested in. Any chance this radio will also feature XM radio?

Hmmm Marietta. I've got a friend from my Coast Guard days living there. John works for Defense Contract Audit Agency.
