• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What have you done for your spyder lately ?

so far this month i've changed my rear fender brackets, changed the oil, and got a laser alignment.

Well, I ordered a new pair of Elka shocks and am waiting for them to arrive. I also have an appointment for an oil change and a new rear tire for my trip up onto the the Gaspe on the 10th of Aug.

Diamond plate footboard, bigger brake pedal, mud flap. Waiting for rain to stop to ride.

Not much..!!

replaced the rear tires and broke it in. Added a garage door button on dash. Oil and filter change (getting ready for SITR). Then broke in that tire some more. That tire is keeping me busy.....:roflblack::roflblack: It was broke in when it hit the floor but don't tell anyone..:roflblack:

Spyder work

Going to change my highway pegs around, install AF-1 breather and a cat-delete....I hope to get this all done before I leave for the Redwoods gathering on the 1st of Aug.

I applaud your diligence  Rear tires must be completely broken in before you use them :lecturef_smilie: :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

HOW ABOUT THESE /////

" front shock angle adjusters "...? ? ? :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:........My Dad once told me this and I think it's true ....Things that you get for " nothing " are worth nothing to the recipient........Do you think this is true ? ? ?..................Mikeguyver

NOT QUITE FINISHED YET !!!....MAYBE TODAY

Trailer hitch for my new 2014 RT ( homemade - of course  )
The wireing is finished , thanks to" stevedfive "...............just have to do a little more welding and it's done :yes::yes:....................This will be my third Hitch and I learn / discover something new each time.......Bending the rear bracket / hoop has always been difficult. This time I cut half-way thru the strap and then made the bends.........Waaaaaaay easier and absolutely ' SQUARE ' ( relatively speaking ). I even made a jig this time so I can easily repeat the HOOP to make more..........Mikeguyver

Just got back from a GREAT trip out to Rapid City, SD and the Black Hills - great weather for our 10 day vacation!:thumbup: We put on another 1500 miles and now have about 5300 miles on our 2014 RT Limited. It has been an excellent motorcycle and checking oil after the trip -- used ZERO oil - still on full mark. Best MPG: 42.6 MPG (happened a couple times while rydin' under 60 MPH). Worst MPG was 30 MPG while rydin' around 75-80 MPH on I90 in South Dakota with a cross wind.

P.S.: Also had first service at 3000 miles w/ oil change this month.

Mostly riding them, polishing them, and looking at them.

Seasonal start up oil change service and new front tires on the 2011. No new farkles. 4000 miles so far this year.

3000 mile break in service, trunk light, a-frame lights, and Utopia back rest on the 2014. 4500 miles so far this year.

Seasonal start up oil change service on the 2010. 1000 final miles and traded the Black Widow off. She now resides in Fairbanks Alaska.

Recently!

This month I have installed Elka shocks up front and in the rear. Added JT's prefilter to the air cleaner. Changed my the oil & filters myself for the first time yesterday. I have also managed to install a, I will call it a handlebar bag to house my cell phone, wallet and other small items. It does not look the best (wrong color) but it works.

TricLEDs 3rd and 4th brakelights...
Worling on getting a couple of spare keys; including a chipped one!
Wash it; wipe it down, and go get it dirty again! :D

Just finished installing Lamonster's Highway Brackets with Chevron Pegs, it was fairly easy. Haven't tested them out yet....will do it in the AM when riding to work

What have you done lately

Kuryakyn ISO Grips, new rear tire (today), Baker Air Wings (coming next week), oil change (also next week), led front fender lights, knight rider brake light, shorty antenna.

O.k., can't help myself. Spydee is the neckedest she has ever been. Installed new BahaRon heim joints after finding out one was funky.

Found out the brake reservoir had leaked so moved the reservoir, removed rust, primed and repainted the spine around the reservoir. (Full strength Coca-Cola really does take the rust off. Use a fine grit wet/dry sandpaper after saturation and it wipes right off. Cool!)

Did some other piddely things, but that's about it...
