What does your state visited map mean?

Mr. Orange was kind enough to give me instructions on how to add a map, but then I got thinking.....
should I mark all of the states I have been ever been to, or just the ones that I have ridden my Spyder in?

We do #2. If I were to count the states,Prov we would have all most all of them coverd. I think it's just what you ride your Spyder in to show everyone how much you love to ride. No trailing counts. You half to ride the spyder.

When I had that map in my sig line, it was only states that I rode my Spyder in. Not sure if I should vote #2 or #4.....

After reading the choices again, I picked #2 as I have posted the map before. :thumbup:

I agree. Seems pointless to post a map with anything else. I don't think people with a lot of states filled in are any more special or those with only a few states any less special. It is what it is.

Spyder only for me. I'll go to the M109R forum and post states there that I have been to on that machine but not here.

I am of the opinion you have to have traveled at least 1000 miles in the State or province on a spyder to call it traveled/visited

Yep, Spyder Forum - only states riden on my :spyder2:. Edited my signature accordingly.

As far as riding 1K miles in a state - good luck in Rhode Island and Connecticutt:clap: and most of the north east. Blasting a thousand miles through a state on the interstate ain't visiting much either. Guess it's up to the individual how they want to post their sig.

Mine shows :spyder2: and motorcycle. I did not have a chance to ride :spyder2: until I came to Alaska--I have over 40,000 :spyder2: miles in AK in three years.

Prior to coming to AK (2001) I drove motorcycles in the lower 48 for 37 years. IMO, I think I should be able to show that too.

If I showed cars--it would be every state in the union except Oregon, Arkansas, Virginia, W. Virginia & Louisana.

We don't do interstate. GPS is set to avoid major highways, toll roads and U-turns, gives us a great ride to see the state.

Mine shows states that I have ridden a Spyder in. I added AZ as that is where I first rode a Spyder. I can't for the life of me figure out how to add the Canadian Provinces map to my signature. I add it and the state map goes away. BajaRon how did you do it?
