There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What does a Throttle Body look like?

Got my '11 Rt back today and all is under warranty. Probably north of two grand for all the repair work.

The throttle body was replaced and I have posted pics of the old one in case anyone wants to see what a TB looks like. I guess that back in the days before injected intakes this would do what a carburetor does.

They drive belt and the reverse actuator boot were also replaced under warranty. All the inside teeth on the belt were destroyed and since they were unable to determine if the belt failed or something made it fail, it too was warranted as was the boot.

Drove it home in the rain but I didn't care... I have my baby back!!

Thanks to the good folks at Mountain Motorsports in Conyers, Georgia for timely and expert attention to the problems.

Man they have come along way since the basic carburetor ! That thing is huge.I'm sure they re torqued the bolt for the pulley as well as checking for damage and alignment of the pulleys. I've only herd good things about Mountain Motorsports

two replacements

Well it is good to see what I had replaced on my baby, I had two TB's replaced. the original one failed with the servo motor burning out, the second one failed due to when the TB done it calibration check when you first started it when it was cold kept failing, the now new one which was a superseeded model from the second one is all good. So effectly my bike has had 3 TB's installed. It was good to see BRP and my dealer in Canberra getting on top of the problem and fixing her. All done under warranty thank God.
