• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What do you listen to when you ride?

Wow, Old Thread Revival, but a good one

This thread is right up my alley. I LOVE music, all kinds.

My song list on the iPhone contains over 2500 from various artists. I like everything from Outlaw Country, to Southern Rock, to Blues, to Heavy Metal and Hair Bands, to Symphonic Rock and all types of Hard Rock. Heck I even have some New Age Stuff :)

I have a SPYDER playlist that has approximately 8-10 hours of music on it.

Here is a sampling of the artists I like to listen to on my SPYDER playlist!

I still have my 8 track tapes and recorder in my attic next to the Beta-max and Pong, I hate to throw out anything especially if it still works. That's why i keep my Wife around,
She still works.:roflblack:

A good question would be:

If you could only have three artists-groups songs, which three???

For me, top two are easy, third was a tough choice, but doable.

For me in order:
All of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits
All of Stevie Ray Vaughn
All of Pink Floyd

@stevemac I'm with you bro, but I get to listen to wife's chit-chat over the intercom 😂

:2thumbs::2thumbs: Those are all GREAT artists

But for travelling music I think I'd rather listen to:
AC/DC
Ted Nugent
Santana

But it's such a tough call...

And you ABSOLUTELY put up some pics of that Green Beauty... :2thumbs:

Working on that this weekend Bob!
I've been sick for forever it seems.
Got all the pics, I just gotta get the background music tweaked to show the personality change from the silver RT to the Green Monster! LOL ;)

Wow!!! That is very close to what I would choose as well. I might drop Stevie in favor of Tom Petty, but I could live with your selections.

My wife and I listen to the wind, the sound of our Spyder, the tires on the pavement, other bikes when they pass us. If we stop along the road (in the country) we listen to the stillness, try and hear the birds if there are some around. Yes, for us the natural sounds are the music we listen to when we ride.

I posted this on June 1, 2009. Still hasn't changed. Guess we are just different.
