NancysToy
Motorbike Professor
This has been covered in some fashion a couple of times, but it seemed to be a good time to resurrect it. I have not been able to ride for a month, after injuring my thumb, and I have a few more months to go, so I needed to get my fix somehow. Since I got my Spyders, I have sadly neglected my other toys, especially since Nancy retired. I have a mild custom '53 Ford F-100 hotrod that was gathering even more dust than my BMW motorcycle. When I dug it out of the barn, after sitting two years, it had mold growing on the steering wheel!
pps: We cleaned things up and did three car shows and a cruise in eight days.
It felt good to get the old girl out again. I hope I can still drive it after they repair and pin my thumb in my surgery on Thursday and put on a cast in place of this brace/splint. I don't want it to be so neglected again! As you can see by the bike in the back, I have forgiven my Simplex bobber. It was what I was riding when I hurt my thumb. Looks good in the back of the Effie!
What do you guys do for kicks when you aren't riding?
