• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had a 2014 rts---put a Bajaron Ron sway bar on, best money that I spent on the spyder. thinking about buying a F3. Do I need to buy another Ron Sway Bar to put on it, to help in the X winds In West Texas.
Thank u all for the information It will be another 3 months before I can buy another, recovering from open heart surgery. Got the 2014 way 2 soon.

 Heal quickly and completely!
Why not just get the F-3, and ride it stock for a little while?
That way; you'll be better able to assess what you really want (or need) to do with it.

When you put the BajaRon bar on your 2014 RTS, did you keep the OE bar you took off? Cos if you did, I believe the RT's OE bar is stiffer than the F3's OE bar, & fitting it to your new F3 will be well along the way towards improving it as much as you would by fitting a new BajaRon F3 bar, & you might save some $$ too!

One of the local F3 riders here bought my removed/replaced OE RT bar to fit onto his F3 & is very happy when comparing that to other Spyders he's ridden with OE or BajaRon sway bars fitted, but what works best for each rider is somewhat dependant on their riding style & desires. :sour:

If you don't still have the OE RT bar that you took off to fit the BajaRon bar, then before committing to buying anything, give Ron a call or drop him an email asking for his advice on your choices; from what I've seen he's very approachable if you want to know about that sort of stuff, & I'm sure he would help you choose the best swaybar option for you & your riding style. ;)

And I do hope you recover well & quickly; for what it's worth, I've found that Spyder riding helps the healing process massively! I reckon that spending an hour riding my Spyder is worth at least one of my (multiple daily) doses of pain meds; and besides, it's far better for helping traumatised chest, shoulder, & arm muscles than driving a car. So you might hasten the healing process by getting that F3 sooner rather than later - & that might give you a bit of time to ride it stock gently a little before making up your mind about modding it for some more spirited riding.... altho it might be a tad hard not to ride a new F3 spiritedly once you do get it!! :D

I do believe that there were several threads about this RT/F-3 bar swap, in the F-3 area. ;)
The Search Button can be your friend!

Hope you feel better soon. While i have no advice on the bar i can tell you that Baja ron is always responsive and has answered a bunch of questions for me in the past. If you shoot him a PM when you are ready i am sure he will reply and give you honest answers. He doesnt try and push his product and just gives you the facts. I want to get a bar for my new RT but i hate paying my overpriced dealer to put it on and not ready to start tearing it apart myself with only 350 miles on it.

Good news...

You are recovering.. take your time and the above have your questions answered. Do agree , get it, ryde it and then see what you need...
