• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

what dealer will be first to get them

Who knows -The East is closer that the West from Canada-I have decided I won't purchase in Dec IF they won't take my trade-in then and my dealer has so many Sleds in the warehouse he says he can't take mine till Spring BUT another dealer will take the trade any time of the year so its going to get interesting? I won't pay Property taxes and Insurance on 2 Trikes for 3 months of winter!!!

Not sure but would suspect that they will go where the climate is warmest as it would be the place for the fastest selling. We have become a world of instant gratification and impluse buying and if you can't ryde it why buy it...But we will see....:dontknow:

But then it could be to thier best dealers.....

Or do like BMW does and attempts to get all dealers to get their new bikes at the same time, or Indian that has dealers hide the new bikes until they are shown at all US dealers on the same day.

Do you guys have to pay property taxes on bikes???

Here in Tennessee the sales tax is around 7% and the yearly tag fee is now $24.00, first year registration is the cost of the first year tag. We don't spend much more that $150.00 per year for 6 licensed vehicles. No state income taxes either. Our total property taxes are between $1200.00 and $1300.00 per year for house, 2.7 acres property and everything.

Also have to remember when the Spyder was first released back in late 2007 it was in San Diego.
