• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What current draw can the Acc Power Plug safely handle?!

Guys I have a 22 Sea to Sky coming in.......sometime..... and I would like to plan to install the following items to the acc power plug so that they will only run when the bike is turned on. 1. Slingmods front LCD light bar. 2. Slingmods power station and 3. Garmen ZemoXT GPS. I need to determine the total draw on the system and see if this is even possible. The zumo will be the biggest draw and I can direct wire it to the battery if I have to but would rather not. Can someone look in their manuel and see what the ac plug can handle safelly please?

Connect aftermarket devices to a fuse block. Power the fuse block through a relay activated by the acc feed. Then you are spared problems of the canbus system.

There should be a gps specific power cord on the right side under the service cover. It should be plugged into a dummy receptacle and labelled for gps. Be aware that on some 20 & 21 models (mine included) the polarity is reversed. As to the other items, there should be at least two other wires labelled, "customer accessory circuit". Look for one under the left service cover, and another under the passenger seat. These will already be fused and powered only while the engine is running through the load shedding relay.

I used a ELECTRONIC FUSE BLOCK RT 2020+ https://lamonstergarage.com/electronic-fuse-block-for-the-can-am-spyder-rt-2020-present-lamonster/ - it will give you keyed power on and constant power - with an added bonus of turn signal and brake output. Easy install once you get the tupperware off. Use Wago connectors https://www.wago.com/us/discover-wire-and-splicing-connectors if you have more needs than the fuse block has outputs for (just don't exceed amp limits).

:agree: Its plug and play hook-up, No wire splicing needed, and half price of what I paid 14 months ago, would buy again!

YUP, just installed it, works great and easy install. It's for a RT but also works on my F3 T

Hello All! First official Post Here. Does anyone have a picture of the available power connectors under the passenger seat. I have a 2020 Spyder RTL in Chalk. I had the seat off a few months ago and didn't notice a power connector. Installed the Sling Mods brake flasher and additional LED brake light/turn signals. Also installed the running board LED's (love that look). Eventually I want to install down lighting all under the machine and accessing power from underneath the passenger seat would be easier.

Gratefully,

Get you one of these, easy peasy. https://store.valueaccessories.net/FuseBlockandTrailerWiringHarnessSpyderRT20.aspx

Also do a search for XKglow for the glow lights.
