What are your thoughts on BajaRon's swaybar mod?

Sway Bar

I think it was very nice of CAN AM to under design the Spyder so that all our sponsors could provide them and benefit the economy, I think all of America should be required to buy one to solve our economic problems.:yes:

Installed my sway bar last night. Took about 1 1/2 hours and followed all guidance provided in various posts. Would have beed faster if there was an easier way to get to the top bracket bolts. It was rather a slow process with two wrenches with just a feel for getting them on the nuts.

Took a nice ride this morning and could tell a big difference in side to side role around an S bend I travel frequently.

Definitely a good mod with little work effort.

Installed baja Ron's sway bar on my RT-S 2 weeks ago. Great mod, makes a big difference!

Just finished the install n going riding If i could make one sug / round the edges of one side of the plastic blocks to make it easier to slide in I did mine with a de burring tool

We had to round ours also but I think that Ron is shipping them with rounded corners now.

Thank you very much for all the kind words and support. Glad everyone's getting even more enjoyment out of their Spyder.

It's hard to explain, isn't it? But once you ride the BAR, it all becomes very clear.

Actually, it's MAGIC!

It takes most about 1-1/2 hours to do the job on the 2010-2012 RT. A little less time on the 2008-2012 RS/GS models. Too early to tell on the 2013's.

Just got rons bar for my 2013 RT, did not like the way it handles in corners, was wondering if there are any other RTs in the forum with this mod and what are your thoughts on it, also any installation pointers would be great thanks

If you had your shocks all scrunched up to #5 you can try backing off a notch or two. Let the Ron Bar do more of the leaning work instead of the shocks.
