• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are you going to do during the "off" season for Spyder riding?

Please share your information, if you care to, about what you are planning on doing during the winter lay up of our

Different ride

Snowmobile:thumbup:I go to Quebec for five or six weeks of snowmobiling with my winter riding friends we usually get in 5000 to 6000 miles of riding . They are a group of people much like the Spyders riders.

 I'm gonna pout, whine, complain, grump, grouse, piss, moan bitch, grumble, growl, and be a general pain in the butt... :gaah::gaah::gaah:
There are no Farkling plans for this "Dark Spell", as I've got to buy tires and a battery during next Season.

I'll be dreaming about my trips next year and using up lots of iMap time figuring out different possible routes and sites to see along the way to the rallies I want to attend.

See that, 5+ years owning a Spyder and I just now find out that there is an "OFF" season, nobody tells me anything, I am always the last to know. :yikes::yikes::yikes:

NoVA. Occasional snow, but no real "off season". I ride year round, from 10° to 110°.

Since ny wife wont ride in the winter, I will ride the Spyder on particularly iffy days. Otherwise, I ride my BMW R1200GS.

Sorry. My brother says he is suffering through 70's and 60's. He is in NW Arkansas.

Glad to hear you are an all weather driver.
When its snow you can go, but sometimes the stopping is what can hurt. :roflblack::roflblack:

Everything here is SUV's and trucks. I feel like I don't stand a chance so when the ice is on, I am off.

We are now getting into nice riding weather with lower humidity. The downside is that attracts all the snowbirds who can be very unpredictable. This is Florida living.
