• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We've talked about bad Christmas Carols Already...

Gotta be #1 A Christmas Carol. I have the 1951 version with Allistair Sim, the George C. Scott 1984 version and the most true to the book 1999 version with Patrick Stewart. I need to find the 1938 version with Reginald Owen. There is a 2009 Disney version with Jim Carrey. And... Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase :roflblack: :roflblack:

"A Christmas Story" is number 2 on my list...
Then:
"A Christmas Carol" 1999 version
Then the 1951 version of the same movie
"White Christmas"
"The Holiday"
And then the 1938 version of "A Christmas Carol"
(I'm a sucker for such a great story!)

The Missus won't let me watch "Bad Santa" anymore... she says I picked up too many tips from Billy Bob... :roflblack:

Have to add Holiday Inn with Bing and Danny Kaye. This was the movie in which White Christmas was introduced.

As mentioned above: I also like the classic versions of A Christmas Carol. The black and white ones are good. I have the Reginald Owen version and watch it every Christmas Eve. The more modern color versions are very good also. I like the Patrick Stewart one the best of the modern versions.

'Its A Wonderful Life' is my favorite, for a different reason. I got to eat dinner at Jimmy Stewart's house 3 times. Was friends with his son.
