If you are talking August of this year, I would say we are not going to make it. One big vacation this year is about all we will be able to do and we are committed to Cuba. If you do this annually though, I know we would love to get out that way for a nice ride.
Let the Spyders run, on Highway one-oh-one!
Sounds good to us. We can make it. Would be better than sturgis and safer too. The ryde there would be great, through Reno, Tahoe, Sac. and on. Moabgirl says yeah.hyea:
Great to hear John! And since this is quite an undertaking for my husband and I, there would be no way to make it successful without the help and support of all SpyderLovers!
I am open to any an all ideas that you may have, and if you are local, please contact me if you think you can help.
Sponsorship would also be very helpful and I would like to make this event as successful as Spyders in the Smokies, the BRP owners event, and Spyderfest.
Hey,
SpyderFest will be my first rally ever so at this point I don't even know what the question is let alone the answer. Hope to have something to bring to the table after SpyderFest. Newberg, Or. is not really in your neghborhood, but I'll help out if I can.
In regards to number of days would be based on the number of events or tours. You have to consider the time factor for those that have jobs and travel time.
Just a thought .... :chat:
Just did that ride this past summer(put 14000 mi on my '10 RT):2thumbs:. Tried to get there for your birthday (suit) ride but missed connectionsWe are in the first stage of trying to plan an annual event for Spyder owners on the west coast which would be the first week in August. I am curious to see how many would be interested in attending an event similar to Spyders in the Smokies that would take place in the redwoods on the northern California coast?

Eureka works for me.. a 3 day event also works. Looking forward to a lunch on the Trinidad dock…. also, cutting the corner on 199 through the redwoods could take you straight up to Crater Lake - another great ride…. :chat:
