Went looking for a luggage rack and came home with a new Spyder

Wow...that must be one b*tchin RT! I've seen the GS (loaded to the max!) and your Vision (extremely cool looking!).

My Spyder was in the shop recently for 3 weeks because my rear shock broke...very odd case...and had to wait on parts. Anyway...my dealership is very cool (Groves Motorsports in Mason) and the mgr asked me if I'd take their green RSS demo out for a while and give him some feedback on the differences. Well, there was no way I could refuse that. I took it out and flogged it for 50 miles or so. When I came back, I had that tell-tale perma-grin! He made a good argument for me to trade in my 08 GS (the first one in the county)...

I was strong!!! But I don't think I'll do that again until I'm ready to buy another one. That was a tough decision. I'm not sure who won that argument...the angel on one shoulder or the devil on the other! :shocked:

We ended up with our viper red RT when we went grocery shopping lol. On the way home my husband wanted to stop in and just show me these new bikes, so we left the car running to keep our steaks cold while we "ran in real quick". I had been opposed to a motorcycle because I was afraid of them. He just knew the spyder would change my mind. Sure enough that ended up being the most expensive grocery trip ever! We left the happy owners of an 2011 Spyder He was right though...we both LOVE our spyder. We went to Durango and met tons of super nice folks. That is how I learned about this site. I wish I'd known about it before since I'm sure I met some of you and I could put a face to the name.

I know you loved your Vision, and Joan loved her great looking GS, but you guys are going to love the RT, too...with a trailer, too. :thumbup: Can't wait to see it in action.

I've been in 2 dealerships in the past 2 months just for looking around - each had a red RT. When I moved away from the exhibit, one of the employees had to come over and wipe away the drool. I'm so tempted but my RS is just less than a year old and I just can't pull the trigger yet. But oh that red is beautiful......

That is why I won't go into the dealership showroom anymore. Afraid I will get the RT.
