• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, Well, Well

Bought the RT in Aug. 2010 got the welcome pkg Nov 2010. Bought the 2010 RS in March 2011 and got welcome pkg in June 2011 two days before leaving for the Owners Event that year. Got both gas cap replacements at the same time in separate pkgs. I think a lot has to do with the dealer dealing with the paper work properly.

We get packets......It must only be for the RT's . I have a GS and no packet then I just got a ST Limited and nothing.

Nope...Bought my ST-L almost 5 months ago and got my complete welcome packet a couple of months back. I also bought an 08 GS and the previous owner threw in not 1 but 2 New Owner Packets that he had received. I was jealous when I saw his, because back then they threw in a nice color poster of the Spyder AND it came in a nice box. The one for my '13 ST-L came in an envelope and had no color poster. Kinda felt like a kid who only got 2 scoops of ice cream when everyone else got 3...

...but then again, from what i'm reading, some of y'all out there didn't get any ice cream at all!!!

Steve,
Have you joined GWRRA yet? Do they differentiate at all between the tipovers, and the tripods? :dontknow:

Hate to tell you this Bob, but Steve is a tipover :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

A sensitive one but still a tipover.

Cruzr Joe

I haven't joined GWRRA yet Bob. I met the local chapter guy a few weeks back. I may visit their next meeting as a guest to see what it's like. Mostly tho, I still enjoy riding with my MoGang and other Spyder friends. But I am open to checking out the local GWRRA on a trial basis to see what types of folks are involved.

Joe, I'm not so much of a tip-over unless liquid apple pie is involved. I'd say with my gimpy leg, I am more of a weeble-wobble.

Welcome Kit?

Shouldn't even be posting here since our Spyder's not even a month old yet.

Our '08 smart came with a welcome package within a month of purchase.

Our '13 FIAT Abarth has a CD, a welcome package with a scorpion-themed thumb drive delivered in less than a month.

C'mon BRP. This is Marketing 101. Connect with your consumer. Do it now. Do it often. Do it consistently.

Regards,

Dan

Welcome package

Got an incomplete welcome package last night. Got the pin, but no patch. Got a bunch of business cards to hand out. 2013 Accessory book, but no patch. Gotta love it.

welcome package

I got my :spyder2: Welcome Kit today, exactly 3 months to the day from the day I bought it. It had the usual stuff: Patch, pin, cards to give your friends, clothing/accessory catalog, and a welcome letter with my first name and a picture of the (almost) model I purchased. I can understand why it takes them so long to get them to you. :banghead: First, they have to type your name and address into the software. Then they have to select the right printer from among three. Then they have to print out the (almost) personalized letter, put it in the folder, put the folder in the outside envelope and stick the address label on it. They can probably only process 1000 or so per day.

WELCOME PACKAGE what is that??? I bought mine 15 months ago have put on close to 9,000 miles and the only thing I've got are the maintance bills, ofcourse my dealership leaves much to be desired. Oh well xmas is comming maybe it will be under my tree. Oh wait...have I been good hmmm?
