• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

well here is how it went today

like i told BOB D. today i have been keeping quiet on here about my 14 rt because of all the complaining i did about the 13 rt i had. on the 13 right from the get go i did the Ron bar and elka shocks. my complaint about that bike was the heat issue and never about handling. now when i first got the 14 rt i had the Ron bar and the links installed when the bike was being put together and i figured with the new stock shocks the bike would be fine. well i was not happy at all with the bike handling and i felt that the front end was all over the road on me, so between health issues and the handling i was not riding the bike.

now today i rode up to see Ron and his son in accord ny because i ordered the elkas for my weight and i also wanted the laser alignment to see if it would make my bike handle any different. well let me tell you i can't believe the change in the front end with the new shocks and alignment. i now feel that the bike is very responsive in turns and no more nose dive when breaking. there is a lot of twisting roads up where i was today and it handled them perfect.

Ron has a nice setup he made for a ramp and table to work on the bikes. with my 13 rt i changed the shocks myself, but when i tried on the 14 i couldn't get my hands in the top for the bolts. watching them today do the new shocks i am glad i never keep trying to do it myself, they even had to remove a bolt from the links to get the old shocks out and install the new ones. he also said the alignment was not out by much, about a half inch on one side and the toe was out a little, and worked to do it when the shocks were installed. bottom line is i am now very happy with the bike and the way it handles, i am glad i waited for the shocks with the heavier springs for my weight and out of the 390 miles i did today the bike was great, i met bob d and his beautiful wife and also Ron and his son. well that is how my day went and if fall comes soon i will be very happy because the heat knocks me out. later people

Ron and Derek (I am sure I spelled derek's name wrong) are awesome:2thumbs::2thumbs:

I got a new rear tire and alignment done about a month ago and it did wonders for my handling. They are going to be set up at SpyderQuest for business. They also have an interesting surprise for those who come to visit the vendor area during the rally.

I'm not sayin...........I'm just sayin'............
