• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, DUH!!!

 I fail to see the attracftion to jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. :dontknow:
Unless it's on fire, and doing cartwheels across the sky; I'm going keep my butt strapped in my "floatation-equipped" seat! :D

Hi Patti,

I made my first jump in 1964 just because I 'always wanted to.' Then the 'bug' bit.

A little over a 1,000 jumps later, I made my last jump in 2002.

It is not for everyone.

And for the record: I have yet to read an accurate newspaper account of any fatality.

Just sayin' . . .

PS) Like a lot of things in life, people should not knock it until you have tried it. My 92 yr old mother thinks I'm nutz to own a motorcycle.

Jerry, took my first in 1979. I had 357 up to my last jump in '78. Two of those were from UH1P choppers.

Hi bruiser,

Re: I had 357 up to my last jump in '78.

Nice to see another usta-was jumper on here. I don't feel so lonely now.
