• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Website Update

In order to makes things even more confusing  we have now broken the kits further down so that we will know exactly what everyone needs at a glance. It actually isn't that bad. You have a total of 5 kits to choose from. They are as follows:

Kit #1 RT - This is the upgraded arm and pulley for those that already have the idler and adapter in place.

Kit #1 F3 - This is the upgraded arm and pulley for those that already have the idler in place.

Kit #2 RT - This kit is for those that have the adapter kit and nothing else.

Kit #2 F3 - This kit is for those that have not installed anything.

Kit #3 RT - This kit is for those doing a completely new install and have nothing else.

Sorry for the confusion, but we are applying these kits to two completely different bykes that require different kit configurations. Thanks!

or kit. Installation is as simple as removing the plastic arm and installing the upgraded aluminum one in it's pl

Hi Doc

You may have to cosider having an option for those that have purchased your kit for a RT but decide to purchase an f3 later on and want to swap your kit over or even the other way round f3 to the RT
Am I right in thinking the only difference is the length of the spacer on the pulley, perhaps if both spacers are included with instruction stating which spacer is fitted dependant on if the kit is for the RT or the f3 especially if the pulley shows little signs of wear and can be reused
Maybe a kit that only includes a new pulley and spacer for whichever model you need as long as the buyer states which one he needs

Only problem with including both shims at time of purchase would be getting the crush tension correct for the bearings. Obviously, if they wear a pulley out or change to a F3 or from a F3 down to an RT, they will have to change the shim to the different ryde and/or replace the pulley. They will have to set the crush tension then. If they have the longer bracket (kit#3) for the RT, that WILL NOT work on the F3. In that case the best thing if they might upgrade and want to transfer the kit to the new byke, would be to buy the RTBK adapter and a kit #2 for the RT. That way they can go either way.

Website with video section is great.

And thanks to Doc for taking my call today and answering questions about which kit I needed. I've already cancelled the order for the cheesy BRP roller and ordered kit #2 per his recommendation, since I already have the adapter plate.
