• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Last Saturday we finally got our Blue Can-am Spyder RT AC! YEA! :2thumbs: Sorry we haven't posted prior to this, but we have been busy with our new baby! CE has his motorcycle license. I have taken the written test and passed! Yea!!! CE is being so patient with me in teaching me how to drive our Spyder! He is doing a great job in giving me instructions and what I need to work on. :chat: With his knowledge and experience he will have me trained well!!! :ohyea: Then the driving test for the DMV. :gaah:

:welcome: and :congrats: on your new Orbital Blue RT-AC. My wife, Kathy (a.k.a. MsKitty), has a 2010 Blue RT-AC and totally loves it. She is a novice ryder, as well. I tried to get her up and going on two wheels for six years and she was just too intimidated by the bikes. She took mine for a real short test drive last December and she fell in love with the way my RT-S handled. In mid-December, I flew down to Phoenix, AZ to pick up and drive back to Portland her "new" used RT-AC. Over the past eight weeks or so, Kathy's put on over 2,000 miles on her:spyder2:!!! Now all I'm hearing is "Let's go ryding! I wanna ryde!!":2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

RE: to dltang

:congrats: and :welcome: Enjoy your spyder for many miles to come.

We plan on it. We have enjoyed it so far. No, more than enjoyed. It has been fun!!! We have a place a couple of blocks from here where they are starting to build new houses, and they only have the streets put in. So we go over there for CE to teach me. The other day he told me I was doing well enough to go over there by myself. So I did that yesterday while he was at work. We are looking forward to the weekends so that we can go! If it isn't raining on Sunday, I think we might take it out for a longer trip.

Thanks!

Hey, Vicky! This is Kathy, Slybird's better half. Just want to say "You go girl!". Ryde your own ryde at your own pace and you will never look back. Here's a picture of me and my "baby" on my first "long outing". We went from Portland, down the Columbia Gorge to Multnomah Falls. This was taken at Crown Point, about halfway to the Falls. The trip was about a hundred miles round-trip and I had a BLAST even though the last 40 miles was in the dark and raining. You'll be an expert SpYder-Ryder before you know it!:ohyea::ohyea:

:congrats: on the new to you :spyder2:.:2thumbs:to many happy miles. The big test is to bring it to Spyderfest !
