• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Want to buy a Spyder but cannot fit my leg to the brake location

The guys at ISCI are great and make great products. I love the handbrake option but it comes with a cost. The guys at ISCI also make an extension for the pedal. Funny thing is at Spyderfest this year my buddy has the same problem and we talked to the guys at ISCI and the gave him a parking brake extension and if fits great works even better! We laugh because the only problem is the brake has a parking brake emblem on it which may cause problems for people that didn’t know it was really just a brake. Kinda fun too. LOL! I will try to get a pic the next I see my buddy Dave

I've always been a footpeg kinda of guy. I like to sometimes rock my foot on the peg with my toes pointed down a little. I have had both ankles broken in the past and with my toes pointed down, a little, it is more comfortable from time to time. I also have Lamonts NVB highway pegs to change position now and then. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, it is personal to our taste and if we feel comfortable with it, that is all that matters.

I was at my dealer yesterday and a couple of guys, on harleys, were checking out the Spyders. One of them sat on a St and stuck his legs streight out, hunched his back and put his arms out (in the ape hanger position) and commented he would have to have bars up high and his feet out next to the front fenders in order to be able to ride one. I commented the the spyders may not be for everyone. Just goes to show that there's "different rides for different hides" :2thumbs:.

I have the same problem. Experimenting right now with a piece of 2" thick foam taped to the floor board. Did 100 miles yesterday, much better. My foot is higher and it is an easier move to hit the brake. Much more comfortable as well. Tom :trike:

I have a problem with suffering from foot drop to my right foot. When I ordered my 2014 RT L from GS Jettech in London I explained that i wanted a conversion/adaption to my brakes and they fitted a system that operates in tandem with the foot peddle. This works for me and also my wife can still ride in the usual manner. Looking closely it would appear to be a Harley master cylinder on a custom made bracket, it is a bit of a stretch for my fingers but i have covered over 2500 miles and find it natural now. I hope that this is of help to you.
