Waiting is the worse, timeframe? and powerbus question.

I am sitting waiting for delivery of my :spyder: and it is killing me. For the people taking delivery of of SM5 models recently how long was your wait from order date to delivery?

What really gets me is when I went the dealer had a moonlight model on the lot from someone who backed out that I could have taken that night but I decided to wait for the yellow :barf:

And on a side note I ordered the power bus kit from Evoluzione, what power outlets are people mounting with them?

I know what you mean about the wait i'm waiting on the SE5. I just left my dealer since they purchased a spyder to use as a demo and wanted to actually sit on one and see it in person. If only i was able to ride a SM5 i could have had mine today they had a yellow SM5 for sale right now.

For thos waiting on the SE5 my dealer said they are not aware of any delays on these but they said production isn't even due to start up fully on these till the first of September which i thought was a bit odd but who knows. Anyways they also informed me that they will install any accessories i want free of charge if i get them prior to taking delivery so now i'm looking at some accessories

The dealer thought it would be late August or early September before it would arrive. But he said they got one more unit than he thought they would with his initial demo unit delivery. Just the right place, at the right time, and the right price! ;D

Who's/what outlets did you purchase? I have the Talon alarm and power bus coming but I did not get any 12v outlets. I'll probably have that stuff before the bike :

I somehow missed this post a month ago, sorry. If you are still needing this information spydersam, Powerlet is the brand name of the outlets and we bought them here.

Well I went down end of April to get a red Sm5 - I was told I'd have it end of August. Then dealer called me 3 weeks later and said if I switched to Yellow, I'd have it before the 4th of July. I ended up w/ it by Memorial Day weekend! I love the yellow - very visible, cars know I am coming - it will be worth the wait for you!

I am going to get an evoluzione filter.
