Went out to the garage tonight to try out my Ipod and the interface and found an issue with the Spyder. About two weeks ago I put a trickle charger on using the power connector in the trunk. When I opened the trunk I pushed the Spyder's cover up out of the way and left the trunk open. Well sometime in the past two weeks the cover slipped further up and caused the radio antenna to bend. I guess the cold temperatures we had and the bending force from the cover caused the radio antenna to snap off right at the base. :gaah: Now I need to order a new one. :banghead:
On the good side, the Ipod interface worked well and "Magic Carpet Ride" and "Born To Be Wild" blaring from the speakers sounded really great. Although it would have been better if I was screaming down the road at 60 while it was blaring.
