• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

VSS Limp Mode???

I have had my new 2012 RS-S SE5 for 6 days now, and I have put about 500 miles on her. She has been riding like a good girl, until this morning. I was coming up to a light that was changing yellow, so I sped up a bit and turned a tad bit faster than I "normally" would. Right afterwards my dashboard lit up and I had an error "VSS Limp Mode". I put on my hazards, pulled over and waited about 30 seconds. Started it up and she ran like a charm again. I called the dealership, but they are closed on Mondays. Sorry, I know this is probably a repeat but I was hoping by giving specifics someone may have had the same thing happen and can let me know if this may have been caused by taking a turn too sharply, or if there may be something other than that, that may have caused this error. I don't think I turned to aggressively, but I may have without realizing it?

I was suprised to get an error, and I will let the dealership know when I take her in for her first checkup.

you scared the nanny (computer) so long as you don't get another issue while driving you should not have to worry about it too much. Sounds to me that you may have taken one of the wheels off the road for a moment in the turn and that is what set it off.

Limp Mode VSS generated? That's new, the VSS would engage and fast disengage.
