• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vintage Motorcycle Rally in Aylesford...

This annual event appears to be getting very popular. There were over 350 bikes in the exhibit catalogue this year.
It was a beautiful day and I took quite a few pics.

For me, the most interesting bike was an 1897 Leon Bollee trike....so much so that I parked the F3 right next to it!
I got a lot of interest so pics were taken!

If you would like to see some more pics of bikes then just say so and I'll post 'em.......very pretty, most of 'em!

Looks great to me.
Any pics of cinder track racers from the 1960's. 1/8 ovals. do no remember what they are called over there. I seem to remember 350 cc (21 ci) J.A.P engines

I think you mean speedway bikes......sadly no. They're very specialized bikes not normally seen outside a race meeting.

Here's a snippet of SPEEDWAY racing for the uninitiated:

No Speedway racing in the US!!? Can't believe that!!

Thanks for pics OJ UK. I will be on holiday in Aylesford from 22nd August to 25th, shame this event isn't running on these dates if it was I would have attended ;) Must book my train and hotel this week for Kent lol. Normally I would take Beetle down there but I am trying to save on putting mileage on her for obvious reasons.

Thanks OJ. Yes these are the ones.
Nothing quite this on this side of the pond.
I tried doing amateur ones like this when I was stationed at RAF Upper Heyford. My commander changed my mind. We were not even supposed to ride on the street at that time.
