• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where do I look to confirm my VIN. Got a letter from Geico that Georgia says the VIN that Geico reported is incorrect and Georgia considers the RT-S to be uninsured.

My 30 days to get registered runs out Monday. As of today the local tax commissioner still didn't have records back from Atlanta so I could register. :opps:

TIA

Don't know about the RT's, but the RS's VIN is on the right hand side, behind the front rider's foot-peg on the support beam, on a placard.

Hope this helps...

In addition to the link from Jerbear the VIN locations on the RT can be found in the Operators Guide as follows:

2010 - Page 152
2011 - Page 156
2012 - Page 158
2013 - Page 164

Unfortunately none of the guides specify "On the front right side where the lower "A" arm attaches to the lower frame" for the stamped location.

Prob fixed

Read the letter again, yeah I know. Problem is with the BMW and will be overcome by events when the new owner picks it up on Saturday in exchange for farkle money. Went online and changed it anyway, just to make GA happy. I think some of the probs are from the new TAVT business.
I was talking to the BRP rep on Sunday at the demo and he said they have had more problems with the state of GA than anywhere else. He said has has gone round with them twice for hours. BRP has no problems with the other 49 states.
It took over two months for me to get my title from the state of GA.

Good luck!
