• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well; let's just see where this thread goes from here... :roflblack:
The issue of noise around me, is usually fueled by the volume level of the bike's stereo anyway... :opps:
That... and the noise that's coming out of it! :yikes:

Not too loud!!

I had a Yamaha Roadliner and I put Hard Krome 3" diameter big straights on it and it was too loud. My wife & I rode it to Washington D.C. for Rolling Thunder once and every day of riding I'd have ringing ears and a headache. Too loud is just too loud!! I do like to hear my engine run though, so on subsequent bikes (Rocket III Touring and Victory Cross Country) I shopped around online listening to sound bytes and videos to get just enough sound. The D&D slip-ons on my Cross Country do not drown-out my stereo but I can hear my motor at the same time. I'm sure something like the Akrapovic muffler will be available for the 2014 RT as well a some other aftermarket mufflers. Just shop around and do your research first.
