While coming home to Calif from Spyderfest I stopped at a gas station just east of Kingman, AZ. Lucky thing too because I literally was on fumes hauling a trailer behind me. While there a gent and his wife came over I made a admiring remark about my trailer. Really? The trailer? What about my bike? Then I noticed his wheels that he was towing behind a motorhome. A Victory trike, silver, just like mine. Sweet. I rarely see this style of Victory let alone a trike, in fact, it was my first one. They had been in Laughlin for a week for the River Run. Remember the first time you saw the Spyder?

They were made by Leaman [now out of business] for Victory /Polaris.
The last time i priced them they were about 35/36 thousand$,
Just a little too George Jetson for me.:dontknow:

I remember the first time I saw a Spyder. We were at the Blessing of the Bikes in Baldwin, MI, a rather large event, in 2009, and BRP was there promoting them. I did not like them at all! :yikes:Now look at me....have an RS, wishing I had an RT....go figure!! :yes:

I think so. I went to the Victory website and didn't see any stock trikes. And yes, I think they cost more than a fully stocked RT.

The Victory is an interesting bike. I never liked the "spacy" version with the top trunk. They have since come out with some nice tourers that look more like baggers--If I could ride two wheels and "heavy" again, it would definately be a consideration since it has a 26" seat height.

Lehman was making a special version trike using the Victory. My guess is that maybe that model is not available any more. Have not heard Lehman has gone out of business.

Yes, the founder of Lehman trikes did pass away recently, and rather young too. I thought Harley had bought them out.

Lehman Website still active

Checked the website and they had the Victory Vision model on it. It's called the Crossbow and the $35K price range was right on the money. Don't know if they're bankrupt but the website is still active (when Indian went belly-up in '03, the website was down pretty quick).
