• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vibration in front end

Brand new 2020 rt ltd. Notice real bad vibration in front end. Handle bars will shimmy when held lightly. Onle 800 miles. Checked air pressures and all ok.
What do you think?

Take it to a dealer and let them check it out. Sounds like a bad tire.
Also you say that you checked the air, how much does it have in the front tires?

By all means get it to the dealer. Insist they check the tires, including swapping a pair off another Spyder for confirmation and also ask them to verify the alignment, particularly if they have the Rolo system and a competent tech who knows how to use it.

Possible free fix?

I'm told a lot of it can be bearing down too hard on the handlebars. These things like a light touch. If you're just coming off a two wheeler, you may have a tendency to counter steer, which can cause the same problem.

Poor dealer prep!!!!

.

My 2014 was delivered to me with a SERIOUS vibration in the front wheels. I took it back to the dealer who replaced the tires and rims from a showroom model. Problem solved.............but I'll bet'ca that those rims and tires went right back on a Spyder to sell to some poor unsuspecting bloke.

:agree: ..... I and Peter have said dozens of times the Kenda Spyder tires are the most prone to be " DEFECTIVE " of any brand of tires .... If you are still in warranty, I would Demand NEW tires .... This is a well documented problem withe the Kenda's ..... good luck .... Mike
