Veteran's Day Parade

Just wanted to send out a Happy Veteran's Day to all the Vets and all those currently serving out Great Country.

Today I had the honor of ryding the :spyder:in a Veteran's Day Parade on Pensacola Beach, FL. It was a great day for a Parade. Sunshine and temp in the low 70's. I work at the VA in Pensacola and we had a Float that we decorated appropriately for the occassion. Several of my co-workers are bikers - mostly HD riders and we invited others to participate. In addition to the :spyder: we had several trikes and 2 - wheelers. All the bikes were a big hit with the crowd.

It is great to be able to celebrate this great Nation and all the people who have made our lives in freedom possible. :2thumbs: :yes:

I'm very jealous of your weather. I marched in the parade at Leavenworth, KS and it was much cooler and drizzling. I also carried our battalion colors, so not an extremely comfortable morning. However, I guess being uncomfortable for about an hour doesn't compare to the sacrifice of those we were honoring. Thanks to everyone who did something to support or recognize those of us currently serving and those who served previously. We do appreciate it!:thumbup:
