• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

VERY stupid question... Multi-Quote

I have to ask - how do you use the Multi-Quote feature? :shemademe_smilie:

In exchange - I will share a trick I have learned on my GW board
(even though you may already know it......)

If you want to point someone to a particular thread in the Topic - instead of sending the link to the WHOLE topic - you could Right-click on the thread number in the upper right of the target thread (#1, or #2, etc,...) and choose
"Copy link".

So, there! I feel a little better now ... :coffee:

Hi
I am not a computer whiz by any means , thanks for the tip I did not know about that feature. To use multi quote just click on the MO button for all the quotes that you want in your reply and then click on reply and then all the multi quotes will show up in your reply page , type your reply and then click on submit reply or preview post like you would normally

I hope this helps

If you hold down your finger for a few seconds on whatever you want to "right click" on. A mini window pops up with things like copy, open, open in new window, download file, etc.

Hope that helps.

When you are reading on the forums and it is quite long, just push down on the wheel in the middle of your mouse. Up comes a circle with two arrows. Just pull the mouse to you and the page will scroll by it self. The further you pull the mouse to you the faster the page goes. To go up on the page, just push the mouse away from you.
