• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Very Cool with LaMonster Pipe

I have been wanting to try the performance pipe for a while to try to reduce the heat radiating up from the primary muffler/cat. The heat was so bad on my 15 RT, the emissions sticker began to peel up off the top frame rail. My trouble was that I did not want a lot of extra noise.

When I saw that LaMonster was including the can opener baffle with the pipe, I ordered it. I installed the baffle without trying the pipe baffle-less as suggested. I noticed a small increase in noise, but nothing that wife #1 would complain about from atop her passenger perch.

I simply could not believe how much cooler the under seat temperature was compared to when I had the primary muffler/cat installed. And as an added feature, I got slightly better gas mileage. After running the performance pipe for about 1500 miles, I am very pleased.

The only problem I had was actually installing the LaMonster pipe. After seeing the pipe in person, I considered it more of a work of art than an exhaust part! To me, the new pipe looked like it should have been framed and hung on a wall rather than hidden away under a bike...LOL

Well done...👍

So now you know where global warming is coming from....:roflblack::roflblack: glad it all came together for you ....

:congrats: I'm glad that you found a system that worked for you! :2thumbs:
(You COULD always buy another one, and hang it in your Living Room! :D)

What does wife #2 think of it though?:opps::yikes:

LOL...I am a retired LEO (33 yrs). I was one of the very few that has had only one wife. Most had multiple wives and it was easier to refer to them by number. One guy was married seven times to six different women. One of those didn't learn her lesson the first time and remarried him...only to divorce him a second time!

BTW, wife #1 has been #1 for 32 years...
