this accident happened on sat july 3rd I was on this same RT on thursday .... the guy wasn't paying attention swirved into on coming traffic ...
kind of creeps me out that i was on that same bike on that same rode 2 days before .....

Awww, that's really sad. I know that stretch of road too. DaSilva's is just a little west of it. Three wheels may be "safer" in some ways than two. But you still have to pay very close attention.

The Spyder looks like it rolled. Bad, bad, bad. I hope the guy survives it.

Just listened to the news clip. Was this DaSilva's demo RT? The rider may have just been very unused to how sensitive the steering is. This would make it even more sad.

I don't think he was member , he didn't survive , and I had that RT all day on Thursday dasilva let me take it while he was servicing mine and the steering was fine

Assumsion knowing that I've ridden that demo twice and had no issues there are a lot of things to look at on RT , cruise , radio , ect..... That stretch of rode is straight and wide I can't see how it could have been anything else

I could be wrong; but, I don't believe the RT has had any DPS issues.

It doesn't say it anywhere, but this rider could very well be demo'ing the Spyder for the first time. He simply could have been surprised by how sensitive the steering is.

I sure hope it's not that he was distracted by all the bells and whistles on the dash of the RT. I don't care what is down there. You have to look up where you are going!!

WOW, That must have been a really hard hit. I did the motorcycle thing at 60 but it was a deflecting blow and just broke my right leg, some ribs and some internal stuff.

Quite a few lights in that section of Rt 111. Cars will get going pretty good in between the lights. And you know if drivers think they can make the light they will speed up. I don't imagine a car would have to hit a Spyder very hard if it is at an angle to roll it.

In NH you have to have a Motorcycle endorsement to drive the Spyder. But the ryder still may have been a total novice with it is he had it out on a demo.

I can't get over how fast this must have happened.
