• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Valve Adjustment at 28,000 miles on my RT-S

ARtraveler

R.I.P. Dwayne
I had the 28,000 mile valve inspection/adjustment today, along with other regular maintainence service.

The valves were all in spec and did not require any adjustments or shims. The dealer cut me a break on the labor and only charged me 3 hours ($330.00 for the labor), since they did not have to dismantle everything.

Not sure what I will do when 42,000 miles comes up. That's a couple more riding seasons in the future and a lot can change between now and then.

Thanks for the info! With 21,850 Miles on my 09GS I,m not concerned at this point - But will watch for signs of rough idling !
