• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

V-strom 650 for my troubles(limp mode)

Take heart .. You have finally gotten to the people that can help you and who have a vested interest in closing this deal.
BRP.
Go thru the facts with them now however redundant, frustrating, etc . it may be .
It will quickly be at the regional manager level and they usually have the power to make this problem go away. I know .
I have been there with a certain german car maker.
But that doesn t matter they (BRP) are bound by the lemon law ..which in your state in more broad than in my state but they will address it. Document who u speak to in BRP, when and what the resolution they propose.

If it is a replacement spyder u wish that will be incredibly easier AND CHEAPER for them than it would be to compensate u for with cash to close this issue.
You may have to sign a release etc. but this will close to your liking based on the facts u have presented here.

Ok, so I went over to the dealer because the loaner was developing battery issues. We started talking about the email and as it turns out, this was member of BRP's legal staff...seemed a little sneaky to me. I guess it was relayed "off the record" that they will do nothing until sued...except practicing the art of insanity and doing the same code clearing over and over again. They did this today and are riding the spyder around...it's going to be put back together tomorrow and returned to me. They cleared all sensors and the instrument cluster.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like you need your own lawyer. I know you feel the dealer has been trying, and is caught in the middle, but I suspect the lawyer will actually start with their hide. In most states that is how the lemon laws work, from what I understand. You purchase a vehicle from the dealer, not the manufacturer.

From what I read of the AZ lemon law, it states that if the vehicle is in for repair for the same defect more than 4 times or has spent more than 30 cumulative days(not consecutive) in a shop for repairs(not specificly the same problem) within 2 years/24,000 miles...you can file for lemon law. It also states that the manufacturer must provide a new machine or relieve the owner of the machine and provide legal compensation. The dealer keeps saying he's affraid I am going to sue him...which I will if I have to.

For many lawyers the initial consultaion is free. I'd get one to advise you. There are lawyers that specialize in lemon laws.
