• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Whats in a nick name

When my father joined the newly made Air Force the whole family was encouraged to learn to fly. He would take his family from military assignment to assignment by flying our small personal air force of Cessna Skyhawk’s, Helio Courier’s and Mooney Mustang’s all over the US. Florida to Alaska, Delaware to California. 8 bases in 20 years. Imagine 2 adults and 5 teens flying in formation to your local small town airport. We were often called the OMAC’s. (One Mans’Air Corp.) When he finely retired as a Major and my mother as a Lt. Colonel the whole family was called to the podium and told our flying days may well be over. Shortly after that I joined the Navy and began to fly to where ever my assignment was, from boot camp in the Great Lakes to my final assignment in Hawaii. My wife and 2 sons each have their own planes and we have resurrected the OMAC name. The 546 are the first few tail numbers, hence omac546.

Mine is not hard to figure out. I deal in Spyders. Does that make me a drug dealer? The Spyder is addictive! Got to go the cops are knocking down the door.:yikes:

Just needed a licence plate for a black bike ( Harley V-ROD- sold) so I shortened the Black Jack to BLKJK (max 5 letters in Manitoba).
My FLHTCUSE is registered as ANYRD which stands for Any Road, but my kids translate it as A NYRD.

I retired a Master Sergeant from the Air Force and was a Navy Corpsman when I was in the Navy. The Marines used to call me DOC. A good friend always calls me MSGTDOC. Hence the handle.:dontknow:

All of us old marines called Corpsman (Doc). Used with great respect, especially after being saved by them a couple of times.

I'm grumpy and I'm Bob thus grumpybob.

Pay close attention - this is complicated.......

My name is Don AND THEN I added a zo to it = Donzo!
