• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:welcome: Check the oil... Has it even been changed once so far??
There were some recalls back then... Are there service records showing that they've been done?

Good ballpark price. Check Kelly or NADA to see how that works in your area.

Bob made a good point about checking the service records. With those low miles, the :spyder2: may never have been serviced. A good run through by the dealer would be advised here. The dealer can also search the VIN to give you the complete service history--if any.

There were no major mechanical issues with the 2009's that I can recall.

Have to agree..!!

Kelley Blue Book and NADA will give you some figures and you can check ebay and see what others are asking perhaps in your area. Also running the vin# by a dealer to see if all updates have been made. If dealer maintained those recordscwill show as well. Good luck and hope to see you on the road soon...

FYI
back in July 2012 I bought a used 2009 RS manual shift with 4000 miles, bought it from a dealer in Deleware,
purchased it for $12,000.
My Spyder now has 18,500. miles on it with no major issues, the bike also came with an extended warranty
that's good till March 2015.
Now back then I saw some great deals out there on the internet, some of them to good to be true. Just make sure
the title is legid, do not pay by wire transfer, how much are they asking for this Spyder?
Buyer beware.:doorag:

I bought my 2009 gs last year for 10.7K it had 7k on it, it also had/has a two brother pipe, juice box, and new rims. It was very clean, ran great and still does, I do all my own work on it. I had to install a hand brake lever on it. I am in Upstate NY and the prices are outrages. It seems yours is a great price but check the bike out, run it and make sure everything sounds like it should, check the oil.
