• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Used RT-S?

Purchased our 2010 RSS used and went to the BRP site registered in our name. Received welcome packet in about 6 weeks.

That's crazy man! I'm very thankful things are not that bad with my situation. I'm thankful for a dealership that took care of me even before we discovered this little mishap we had here. I think I'm just going through Spyder withdrawals. She's only been gone for about 12 hours, but once I get her back and start riding, none of this will matter anymore.

In Flarda it is as follows: Chapter 501.976. I'll try to post and hope that it goes through.

My 08 GS was a demo. I received the welcome packet, and the dealer (DDS Motorsports) also told me, when I asked about buying the BEST warranty, that BRP required the dealer to pick up the BEST on demo models.

Hmmm--not to pile on here...............

I bought my RT as a demo unit, so I was able to negotiate the price down a bit.
It had 265 miles on it when I took possession on Feb 27 of last year, and I received a welcome kit as well a few months later.
I am VERY happy with the dealer that I purchased it from, but I honestly don't know what he did or didn't do to make the welcome kit happen other than register me with BRP.

I think in my case the salesperson just wanted to make the sale. The GM who did the paperwork had no clue it was a demo for some reason, was able to register and get insurance and everything on the RT. I think what threw him off was that the Spyder only had like 12-14 miles on it and this particular dealership does not usually allow test drives. But anyway, have myself a fun mid life crisis toy and happy to ride.
