USB port

Just took delivery of a SENA SPH10H-FM dual kit. I have a USB dual charging port mounted in my switch panel ('16 RT-S) for my phone and headset. What I'm looking for is an auxiliary port and a place to mount it somewhere back by the passenger's seat to make phone and headset charging possible for the wife.

Any suggestions welcome!

I thought I saw that someone had installed one in the CB plug in the back by the hand holds?

I agree; great spot underneath left rear hand grip on the RT anyway. A bit of hardware to remove to get underneath it but not bad. Could easily run a wire up and connect to the socket charger in the rear trunk - easy to splice into it IMHO, but believe me, I'm no electrical expert. That's just what I plan to do. Be sure to buy a round marine-type usb hub with a cap.

USB PLUG

I added this USB 2 port plug with Voltmeter to the left rear accessory blank behind the left pax hand hold. I enlarged the hole to fit the plug and tapped into the wires going to the accessory plug in the trunk by cutting the black sleeving. The White wire is the power wire and the black is the ground.

Search AMAZON for Blue Fire Dual USB Charger Socket Power Outlet 2.1A & 2.1A with voltmeter.
