• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Urgent! Vote Needed today for Ladies' Hot Bike Contest for Spyder to beat a Harley!

:agree: A minor offense easily overlooked in this case to help a Spyder win...

I think the saying; 'Life is too short' applies here.

Wow. 1.5?
You are a little "testy" today Ron! :roflblack::roflblack:

Lamont went riding without me.... AGAIN! But I'll get over it, in a year or so! :banghead:

Kind of odd that the results show 928 voters but all the votes add up to 592!:dontknow:

Hanging Chad?!

that bagger was s w e e e e t , but i voted for the spyder:yikes::yes:

In an unbiased vote (is there such a thing?) I might have made another choice...

im alwas ready to vote for a spyder, but like some others i wanted to see the gril on the spyder, that kind of would make my day .i love grils and spyders.:chat::yikes:

I'm sure you are refering to my post and it was just an opinion of how I feel. I would be the first to help her out if she had questions regarding her Spyder or she was broke down. I just found it to be very tacky in how she went about it. She did not even say hello or introduce herself it was "just vote for me and goodbye". I know I'm in the minority on this, so I will just shut my mouth.

Randy,

I agree with you. But, I said nothing for the same reason as when someone shows a mod that they have done and then everyone comes on and says how great it looks and I think it $uck$. I just don't want to upset the kumbaya cart. And, if you do read this, please take a look at the NY Gawkers community group and maybe we'll see each other again.

Think I'm gonna enter my wife's 3/4 sized Ridley dresser...people surround this bike when we pull in...my Spyder goes to second fiddle...

Should have entered this under the for sale section...Lamont...please move...I don't know how to do it...

Cindi's selling her Speedster now that she bought Linda's Purple Screaming MeeMee....
She's selling the bike for the asking price of $6200...The bike is in great condition, it's a 3/4 full dressed scoot....read the specs attached...There were very few of these made...think less than 50 or less....It'll keep up on the interstate, do 80-85 MPH and gets way over 40 MPG...It's got less than 4k miles on it...and extra seat where you can carry the passenger in style...extra drive belt...new...and some other goodies I can't think of at the moment...If anybody's looking for a great starter bike, classy, attention getting, 24" from ground to seat, fully automatic...just like a snowmobile...hit the throttle and go...People love this bike...Buy it...I'll upgrade to an RT...maybe...Kinda like my Rs....Happy New year to everybody

2002 Ridley Speedster RD Motorcycles...

:agree: and I did not vote either. To me this is worse than having your first post being to sell something.

I agree with arntufun. But had I voted, entry #4 would have gotten my vote. Love Spyders but a beautiful bike like that, WOW. BTW. I really dont like harleys. Always felt like the old saying, want to buy a bike buy a harley. Want to ride a bike, buy anything but a harley.

I see this is your first post and was wondering why you would ask us to do this ? Yes, we love our Spyders but I know I don't like to be used in this way and I could care less what that website thinks. Stop by again when you can stay a little longer. No vote from me.

BTW.................. :welcome:We look forward to you joining us in the future.
