Update on 'Recall the Recall?'

As I had shared on a previous thread the safety recall DPS installed in my 2008 RS failed about 10 miles after leaving the Dealer. This was my third DPS. When I took it back this time I was ready to finally give up, get what I could for it and make a deal for an HD Tri Glide. Well, Carlo from BRP contacted me after reading the thread and offered his assistance. With his help and a tremendous amount of time and effort from my dealer’s service department, North County House of Motor Cycles in San Marcos, Calif., I’m back on the road. I’ve only put about 100 miles on her, but so far so good. I’m very thankful for the great service from my dealer and concern from BRP. I’m also very hopeful that the steering issues are over, because if it happens again I’m done!

Glad to hear that Carlo contacted you to help resolve your problem. At least he's watching this board for problems. :clap:
So what exactly did they have to do different, to take care of your problem?
I'd bet your not going to be the only one.
