Well I went shopping today, and I had a hard time choosing between the S&W M&P shield in .40cal, or the Kimber solo carry in 9mm.
Both fit my hand very well, with a slight edge to the M&P because of the slightly larger frame. Kimber had a little better trigger.
Both are very nice pistols, and would be great CCW's.
Specs, Kimber: weight 17oz, height 3.9", length 5.5", width 1.14"
S&W: weight 19oz, height 4.6", length 6.1", width 9.5. Now S&W width is listed as "frame width", which is not as wide as the grip, so kinda miss leading.
So after much deliberation, I came to the only logical decision any sane guy would come too. I got both.
I figured the Kimber will be my carry choice when dressed in my "Sunday's best", which isn't often:roflblack::roflblack:.
Unfortunately, I wont be able to pick them up till the county clerk does the paperwork, and that can take a week or more..:banghead::banghead:
