• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Undies for the long trip

I can see a new contender for the Oil threads with this subject!

But I must confess. I just get on my Spyder and ride. Whether it's 1 mile or 1,400 miles. I didn't know I need anything special to stay in the saddle all day.

But the ovarian cancer thing has me really worried! I'm going to do all I can to avoid that for sure! :yikes:

Been using the Gold Bond Lotion/Powder method now for 65+ years of riding. No Ovarian Cancer yet! :joke:

I need to research this. Trying to figure out why powder can cause Cancer. It must be a specific kind or

something. Hope this is not another one of those Lawyer things.

Are you talking the Johnson and Johnson Baby Powder that was used by a female for hygiene purposes? I saw that on the news, and it was supposedly the talcum in the J&J powder that was the culprit.

I have had goodluck with LD Comfort gear as well. http://ldcomfort.com
:agree: FWIW, I will second this statement about LD Comfort gear. They are expensive, but I bought two pairs of these briefs before SpyderQuest last year and didn't feel a thing. They are completely seamless where it counts, avoiding any pressure points. And they'll dry overnight when you wash them.

At the risk of embarrassing myself and others, it's probably best to temporarily abstain from responding to some of the other posts in this thread, if I can help it. ;)

UA will end up stinking because of the fabric it is made of. Started using these a few years ago. Very nice and super comfy. Will dry out very quickly if you need to wash them while staying at a hotel. http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/...spx?processor=content&feature=BNN-prod4-76713

They just released these and I think I will give them a shot for these nice warm Florida days. http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/...s-briefs/cooling/83736.aspx?processor=content

I got these armachillo shorts and they are really comfy to work in! Long work days in really hot humid weather and they keep ya feeling fresh! Ya can't got wrong with them.

I'm with these guys. I've had mine for 8 years now and they have been great. I used the monkey butt stuff before and it really didn't help me. I wash the LD Comfort shorts out in the sink at the motel and they do dry overnight. 2 pair lasted me 3 weeks on a route 66 trip. It's interesting that they keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Worth the money in my book.
